Vashu Bhagnani Shelves Two Akshay Kumar Projects
POOJA FILMS (The BHAGNANIS) have decided to SHELVE their SCI-FI ACTION Film 'MISSION LION' starring AKSHAY KUMAR. This JAGAN SHAKTI's directorial was supposed to feature AKSHAY KUMAR in DOUBLE ROLE, but is SHELVED for now due to BUDGETARY ISSUES.
JAGAN SHAKTI will now move on to direct HINDI REMAKE of AYYAPANUM KOSHIYUM starring JOHN ABRAHAM and ARJUN KAPOOR from NOVEMBER. Previously, JAGAN was supposed to direct HINDI REMAKE of THALAPATHY VIJAY's 'KATHTHI' starring AKSHAY KUMAR but it got SHELVED as well due to CREATIVE DIFFERENCES
The PRODUCTION (SHOOT) BUDGET for MISSION LION was earmarked as 70 CRORES but the current estimations are way over the earmarked amount and the BHAGNANIS feel that due to PANDEMIC, its not the right time to bring the film on floors and hence, has shelved the film for now
