Vicky Kaushal Proposed To Katrina Kaif Just One Day Before Their Dreamy Wedding!!

While Vicky Kaushal and Katrina Kaif have talked openly about their love journey in several interviews, this week's Koffee with Karan episode revealed that Vicky proposed to Katrina just one day before their stunning 2021 wedding. The Sam Bahadur actor said that he had been told he would hear about it for the rest of his life if he didn't pop the question.

It was quite impromptu. He said, "It was not like a proposal, because I did it 'one day before the wedding,' but I had been warned by everyone that if you don't propose, it's something you have to be prepared for for the rest of your life, that you are going to hear about it." In a Ranthambore historic lodge, Vicky and Katrina exchanged vows.

"The first night we were there, we arrived and I planned a special dinner," he said. It was a lovely arrangement, but there was a supper just before friends and family arrived; they were all coming the following day, so it was just the two of us. That is where it took place.

Vicky said in the show that the proposal was impromptu, as they realized their schedules prevented them from leading ordinary lives as soon as they started dating. "You realize that your work isn't a 9 to 5 job and that you don't have Saturday and Sunday off. She was into Tiger Shoot at the time, and there was a song coming, and when there's a song coming, she's a beast, which is one of the reasons the proposal was made at the last minute. Thus, we were unable to plan," he remarked.

In the episode, Vicky also revealed that, in order to spend time together, they occasionally need to make plans weeks in advance. "At this point, all we're thinking about is how our days are going so we can arrange our own so we have time. We don't get to spend time together for ten to fifteen days while you have your job schedule and she has hers. We were unable to get together. It has become necessary for you to get together and make plans. That's the novel aspect," he revealed.
