SURESH TRIVENI's 'JALSA' starring VIDYA BALAN and SHEFALI SHAH in the lead will see VIDYA playing the role of a TV ANCHOR and SHEFALI will play her MAID who lost her son in an accident which sparks the battle of caste and socio-economic differences between them.
The film also stars ROHINI HATTAGANDI, IQBAL KHAN, SURYA KASIBHATLA, VIDHATRI BANDI and GURPAL SINGH in pivotal roles along with MANAV KAUL making a special appearance.
The story and screenplay of this film is written by TRIVENI along with PRAJWAL CHANDRASHEKAR while dialogues are penned by ABBAS and HUSSAIN DALAL. Produced by VIKRAM MALHOTRA and BHUSHAN KUMAR along with SURESH TRIVENI, The film will be wrapped in couple of days and is tentatively scheduled for release in First Quarter of 2022.
