When Ryan Gosling & Rachel McAdams Yelled At Each Other On The Notebook's Sets

Today, we will be talking about a throwback story where Ryan Gosling wanted Rachel McAdams out of film Notebook. 

The film, Notebook is an amazing romantic film by Nick Cassavetes in 2004 and it made many believe and fall in love again. Have you watched the film? Ryan and Rachel played the young couple, Noah ‘Duke Calhoun and Allison ‘Allie’ Hamilton who fell in love in the 1940s who met each other many year later and had their happily ever after. If you have watched the film, don't you think these actors where just perfect for the role? But Ryan didn't feel so and he didn't want Rachel in the film. Shocking right? 

During a coversation with VH1 in 2014, the maker of the film revealed how Ryan hated Rachel at the beginning of the project. As the shooting begin, he asked another actress to read for the part of Allison as he felt that they don't have enough chemistry. The catch here is that they got together in real life after the film. 

While talking, Nick also said that maybe he shouldn't reveal this but as they were shooting, Ryan came to him and requested him for another actress to read with him on camera whereas around 150 people were standing on the big screen. He just said he isn't able to do it with her. Things got so bad that once they went to the producer's room and started screaming and yelling at each other. But after this, everybody was ready to get it done. Ryan actually respected Rachel as she took a stand for herself and Rachel was happy to come clean and open about the same. It was all smooth after this. 

The duo started dating on 2005 but called it quits in 2007. Ryan considers Rachel as one of the great loves of his life.
