In Bollywood, there are a number of award functions, ramp shows, movie screening nights and even the airport looks of the celebs should be different everytime as they are always captured by the paparazzi
Therefore in order to stand out and try something new all the time, some pass the test whereas some fail to.

So here is the list of some best dressed actresses in recent award nights :-

1. Deepika Padukone

Being always good and correct with her choices, Deepika looked like the Filmfare black lady in the Vimal Elaichi Filmfare Awards 2019.
She wore an Alberta Ferretti black blazer gown which was a limited edition from the Spring 2019 Haute Couture Collection.
The way she pulled off the gown with smokey eyes and a nude lipstick was the icing on the cake!
The gown looked so perfect on her body that she was addressed at the black lady of the Filmfare
The ensemble’s bodice is the stunner, blazer look and all.
Styled by Shaleena Nathani,the actress looked like a statuesque queen! Deepika always knows what to wear at which occasion and she wears everything with a lot of confidence and grace!The big diamond ring was adding more charm to the black gown and this was surely one of the best dressed of that night!
She always proves her ability of carrying off any style with ease.

2. Alia Bhatt

Alia Bhatt was the star in the Filmfare 2019
The diva,who has time and again showed off her fashionable side at the award show, made quite statement in a stunning sheer creation with shimmery detailing.
She wore a gown of Ralph and Russo’s Fall 2018 Haute Couture collection. Her black, beaded gown had a nude corset bodice which fit her like a glove.
Perfect smokey eyes,a nude lip and hair worn in an unkempt bun rounded the look out to perfection.
The gown was enough for the look,so the restraint with not using any jewellery worked for it!
Alia Bhatt just stole the show with the hot gown.

3. Kareena Kapoor

At the Lux Golden Rose Awards, the Poo of Fashion industry and the all time diva Kareena Kapoor slayed it in a princess gown!
She looked like a Queen in her dust pink ruffled gown when she arrived in the Red Carpet!
Bebo was wearing a dust pink ruffled halter neck gown by Rami Ali Ali.
She has wowed the deep neck design!
The look was loved by all and it is my personal favourite
Styled by Rhea Kapoor she looked way too glamorous in the gown and was the centre of attraction! She looked like a Disney Princess in the pink dress
She chose to style her hair with a simple bun and added a pearl accessory to her hair which was very much complimenting to the look!
Her tinted pink lips and kohled eyes looked out of this World!
According to me,she was the best dressed in the Lux Awards !
She was looking so gorgeous, and it will not be wrong saying that Bebo is back with a bang!

4. Katrina Kaif

Katrina Kaif is considered one of the most beautiful women in the Bollywood and her picture of Filmfare 2019 is a proof of that.
Betraying the common reds,blacks and whites she chose a very unique and uncommon mint colour or we can say an icy blue gown!
It was one of the best Falguni and Shane Peacock looks that kat wore on the Red Carpet of the Filmfare Awards!
It showed us that even the light colour can look gorgeous in any award function and she was truly looking so dreamy!
The signature style of the designer duo of sequins and feathery style is a treat for the eyes!
Styled by Tanya Ghavri,actress looked regal in diamond earrings,minimal makeup and hair styled in light waves!
She kept it simple and was looking very gorgeous at the same which is truly a treat to see !

5. Adah Khan

The ‘1920’ actress wore a newspaper dress to the Nykaa Awards Function which was very unusual but looked very classy!
She wore a figure flattering dress that was deep necked and was detailed with a fish cut.
Her outfit was absolutely accentuated by news stories and the bold red ‘Femme Fatale’belt added to the dramatic quotient.
Her accessories were minimal and she wore pearl drop earrings to spuce up her avatar.
Her makeup was bold and was loved with a hot pink winged eyeshadow and a light pink lip shade.
Adah carried the dress confidently and was truly one of the best dressed and a bold choice of the night

While these bollywood beauties were killing it, there were some actresses who failed to impress;

1. Sonam Kapoor

At Filmfare, Veere Di Wedding star Sonam Kapoor came in a hot pink mermaid style strapless gown from Ralph and Russo’s spring collection.
The colour was too bright to wear and was a fashion disaster.
The gown had exaggerated dramatic sleeves attached to it which I think didn’t work at all.
Her centre parted hair didn’t match the outfit and the diva went wrong with her choice this time!

2. Sonakshi Sinha

The dabangg actress wore something which was looking like some Egyptian tribe culture attire!The gold,black and metallic combination didn’t work!
She was looking like a super woman ready to fly and like a female version of Ra-one!
The dress was so unusual and very much disappointing to be wore in an award show!
It seemed like an eagle is hugging her chest from behind!
Her makeup was also a disaster, and it one of the worst dressed of the event!

3. Anushka Sharma

In the HT Most Stylish Awards,she didn’t look stylish at all !
She was one of the worst dressed in the ceremony!
In a bee pantsuit,she didn’t look good at all and the pantsuit wasn’t suitable for the awards function!
She though opted something different from the usual sarees and gowns but it went wrong because the colour was too light and the combination wasn’t working at all.
The Dice Kayek Pantsuit was looking very pale and the accessories also didn’t suit with the attire!

4. Ankita Lokhande

Lokhande’s metallic gown was a disaster for sure in the Nykaa Femina Awards!
She made everyone doubt her fashion sense because what she was wearing wasn’t desirable at all!
The metallic embroidered gown was a huge letdown.
The design was so mix matched and absurd and the makeup wasn’t going well with the outfit!
She needs to upgrade her fashion sense with some better choices!

5. Mouni Roy

Apart from the award ceremonies as I mentioned earlier the airport looks are equally important!
It is certainly unbelievable that someone as stylish as Mouni made it to the list but her airport look definitely left her fans and the fashion press disappointed big time.
According to me,the dress was so confusing to see and the first question came to my mind was “what she is exactly wearing?” I mean what should we call it?
Her outfit left everyone confused and made her fan disappointed!

Therefore,these were the best and worst dressed celebs according to me!
