1. BESANT AVENUE ROAD

According to the people here, they have experienced many paranormal activities. Many say the spirit tortures people who pass the road, even in the daytime too.

2. ECR LINK ROAD, SHOLLINGANALLUR

There is a popular building which is said to be built on a graveyard. 

3. VICTORIA HOSTEL ROAD, CHEPAUK

This road has a long stretch of trees covering alongside the Cooum behind Chepauk stadium with various haunted stories. 

4. ANNA FLYOVER, NUNGAMBAKKAM

This flyover is known for ghost-sightings and strange noises during the silent hours of night as well as in the daytime. It is a suicide point in Chennai. 

5. BROKEN BRIDGE, ADYAR

This bridge was built to help the fishermen cross the river, but in 1977, it partly collapsed due to the currents from the river. This has led to a lot of deaths and made this place haunted. 

6. VALMIKI NAGAR, THIRUVANMIYUR

It is said that the house here is haunted by the daughter of the owner. People say the girl starts screaming at any time and if anybody goes inside, the mobile network is lost. 

7. TWO - LANE ROAD, ECR

This is a long road which is said to be haunted by a young girl who died here in a road accident. She tries to distract the divers so that they lose control. 

8. MADRAS CHRISTIAN COLLEGE, TAMBARAM 

Stories say that a boy committed suicide at Herber’s Hall here after a girl refused his proposal and after that there have been unusual activities. 

9. THEOSOPHICAL SOCIETY, BESANT NAGAR

The big banyan tree here is said to be haunted as there have been spooky activities. 

10. DE MONTE COLONY, PATTINAPAKKAM

It is one of the most haunted places in Chennai. People say that they have seen the ghost of John De Monte roaming on the road at night.
