Amazon unveiled a number of new capabilities for its intelligent speech assistant Alexa at its annual Devices and Services Event. A multi-camera view, the "Customers ask Alexa" capability, and more commands are among the new features. Additionally, Amazon has improved a number of its products, including Alexa Hunches, Alexa Together, and Alexa Routines.

Customers ask Alexa is one of the most prominent elements of Alexa that was unveiled at the event. Users will be able to query the voice assistant using this functionality. When a user asks a question, Alexa will react with replies from businesses that are relevant to the question.

With the help of the Echo Show and Alexa's AI-based skills, users may now shop. It will make it simple for people to search through clothing by using customer references or distinctive qualities. Directly into the calendar display, the new Weather Schedule Insights tool will provide information. Additionally, Alexa will soon be able to give Routine material that is particular to each member of the home thanks to the new Alexa Routines.

Additionally, Alexa now supports remote switches, enabling users to start Alexa operations like reading the news or turning off the lights just by pressing a button. This was created with persons with disabilities in mind.

Owners of Echo devices may now send commands for their smart homes directly from Echo Auto thanks to the new "Smart Home Suggestions" function. For instance, if they have already left the house, they can ask Alexa to lock their doors.

Amazon has also revealed that the new multi-camera view functionality would allow Echo Show users to monitor several smart home cameras at once on their screen. Users can ask Alexa to call a roadside assistance company to analyse the situation—such as a flat tire—and get you the aid with Amazon's new Roadside Assistance service.
