Dynamic Island from the iPhone 14 Pro will supposedly be present across the board with the iPhone 15. Display analyst Ross Young said Apple would make the screen cutout a requirement for all 2023 iPhones in a tweet that MacRumors picked up on. Additionally, the supply chain "can't sustain" the ProMotion 120Hz display technology on lower cheap models, therefore the business will apparently keep it limited to Pro versions. Young added in a following tweet that it is more likely that Apple will transfer the technology to less costly iPhones in 2024.

Moving forward, it would make a lot of sense for Apple to make the Dynamic Island standard on every new iPhone, especially to encourage developers to utilise the functionality. The cutout is already used by several apps for amusing features. Later this year, when iOS 16.1 is released, Dynamic Island will also support Apple's Live Activities API. Additionally, it's a feature that would entice users to stick with their current smartphone by making the ordinary iPhone more enticing. The iPhone 13 and iPhone 14 have been less thrilling than the iPhone 12, which was a significant upgrade over the iPhone 11. Unless you're upgrading from an iPhone that is several years old, there aren't many reasons to acquire the most recent model, which is bad for Apple's bottom line.
