kareena kapoor

Kareena Kapoor Khan has been ruling the Bollywood industry for more than two decades now. Many of the actors, despite being a star kid, have to break into the industry. But she didn't have to do any of these, it was like she was born with one. Many of her movie characters, like Poo and Geet, have given her national recognition and increased her popularity. Not all of her movies or roles have done well, but that has hardly mattered because of her charismatic approach on the screen. She is loved for her attitude, expression and beauty. Let us talk about some of her best films.

1. Kurbaan

Such movies are not made anymore. It shows the story of a psychology professor who discovers that her husband is an undercover terrorist. Kareena's character, Avantika, is more of a wife in pain than a patriotic Indian. The movie shows a few glimpses of Alia Bhatt's Raazi in the second half of the film.

2. Asoka

People didn't talk much about Kareena in her early days. She played the role of an orphaned princess in this film, who was flirting, musical in nature, playful with remnants of her heritage. Later, she takes up action with the awkwardness of a woman as a warrior in the movie.

3. Talaash: The Answer Lies Within

In just a few scenes, the actress nails her performance as Rosie, an escort from Mumbai, who is ultimately revealed to be a ghost. She is only visible to the grief-stricken protagonist with a higher pitch and a different type of glow from the other characters in the film.

4. Ek Main Aur Ekk Tu

Kareena plays the role of Riana Braganza in the film, which seems to be another version of her character Geet in Jab We Met. The following words are enough to describe Riana: funky, fashionable, drifter, urban poor, vibrant and more. We must admire her for being a character who fixes the hero by friend-zoning him.

5. Dev

Kareena took a risk by playing the cog in such a multi-starrer. The movie is named after the character played by Amitabh Bachchan, but the main conflict in the story is between the characters played by Om Puri and Fradeen Khan. Kareena plays the role of a young muslim girl, Aaliya, whose desires soften her lover's intentions. Her character prosecutes the masculine setting in the film.

6. Jaane Jaan

This is Kareena's one of the recent films, which is an adaption of The Devotion of Suspect X. It shows the story of a single mother who is running away from her troubled past. She takes the help of one lovelorn person to hide a crime. She strangles her abusive husband to death.

7. Laal Singh Chaddha

Kareena excels in her role in this film with Aamir Khan. Though her screen time was limited, she was there in the story. Her emotional presence and expressions did a lot to the story of the film.

8. Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham

It is one of Kareena's most loved films as we get the character Poo here. Though she wasn't the main lead here, she created her own fandom for the character.

9. Jab We Met

Do we need to discuss this? I mean, who didn't love Kareena's character of Geet in this film? She is a rebel and hopeless romantic at the same time.

10. Omkara

Here she allows the maker's masterpiece to earn a life and legacy of its own and I want to say it is easy for an actor to do so.
