  1. Buiya Dance- This dance form belongs to the Digaru Mishmis Tribe and the men and women of this tribe perform this dance form. It is often formed at family gatherings and celebrations and binds all the people together. This dance is also performed at many festivals which include Tazampu, Duiya, and Tanuya. This dance form doesn't have a particular dress code and it is performed in the beats of drums and gong.

  2. Chalo Dance- This dance form is part of the most awaited festival of Arunachal Pradesh, which is called Chalo Loku. It is celebrated in a grand way every year in the months of October and November. It is celebrated before the harvest of paddy by farmers. The dress code of this dance form is traditional and performed with the beats of drums and songs sung by the people.

  3. Wancho Dance- The most important festival of the Wancho Tribe is called Oriah.In this festival, the wancho dance is performed and it brings the feeling of solidarity between the members of the tribe. Traditional attire is worn by men and women and performed in the songs sung by them.

  4. Pasi Kongki- This dance form is a celebration of a tribe called Adi. This dance is performed to narrate the social work done by the Pasi people. This dance form is a very unique representation of the rich culture of the Adi tribe of the state of Arunachal Pradesh.

  5. Ponung Dance-This dance form is a very important celebration of the Adi Tribe. It is performed just before the harvest period to pray to the god. In this dance form, the young women and girls of the Adi tribe took part and only one man took part in the show.

  6. Popir Dance-This dance form is done by the dalo tribe of Arunachal Pradesh. This dance form is done after the completion of all the important rituals of the Mopi Festival.

  7. Bardo Chham- This dance form is performed by the men and women of the community of Sherdukpens. They wear masks and head gears while performing this dance and it is very bright and colorful.
