We have written several blind items about a studio’s upcoming female action movie starring an A-list star & another heroine. There were rumors of the movie’s plot being tone deaf. The makers recently issued a statement saying that there was no bonhomie shown with the enemy country & neither were the crimes of the enemy country whiteashed. As per sources, the makers indeed had a bonhomie & “let there be peace among us” narrative. But the stupendous success of a recently released spy thrilled forced a rethink. The troublesome scenes have likely been edited & a few scenes might have been reshot. Our sources were of the opinion that a studio which routinely showed our spies collaborating with spies of our arch rivals wouldn’t have changed track at the scripting stage. The chnages are very recent.
Many of the industry insiders feel that the film’s main lead has been at the receiving end of a concerted attack from her rivals. She has been attacked on all front over the past few months. While some claim that its karma catching up, others are feeling sorry for her. Eventually the truth will come out. Till then we can only speculate.
