Blind Item(Pinkvilla) – Iconic Character – 22nd June

Pinkvilla has posted a blind item about a superstar who won’t be playing an iconic character in the third installment of a hit franchise.

This movie franchise is what created havoc in the superstar’s life. Before he started working on this movie franchise, he was at the top of his game. He was the reigning superstar & a happily married man. Sure he did have some fun with his guy pals with whom he shared a “close” friendship, but there were never any solid rumors of him with another heroine. But his heroine in this movie franchise managed to do the unthinkable.She managed to make the superstar fall for her charms. She had always claimed to have a huge crush on him & blushed every time even his name was mentioned. Two movies were enough to seduce him. This created a havoc in the superstar’s home, with his wife going bonkers & threatening divorce.

Some believe it is the huge divorce settlement he would have had to incur is what made the superstar let go of his GF. After all this superstar loves his money. He will even dance at weddings for it! The superstar’s wife has passed a diktat to not work with this actress anymore. But some reports claim that the GF’s ailing father’s dying wish led to them getting married & going their separate ways. They apparently met at a common friend’s bungalow every time the GF- A bollywood superstar actor turned global star was in town till a few years back.

But now she is seen in the company of young american celebrity. She is in town with her boy toy. While the superstar’s career is on the wane. His last few movies haven’t fared well. He is banking on the success of his upcoming movie to be back in the reckoning for the top spot(click here to read more). But then, this is the first time a man’s career suffered thanks to him going gaga over a woman despite getting married is it?

The superstar may lose the role of an iconic character which he has been playing in the last two franchise of the film. The reason we are saying this is that the director of the film has met another actor and has had two meetings with him and plans to go ahead with him.

The franchise apparently has been on hold because of the fallout between the superstar and actress of the film which resulted in the producers of the film putting the next installment of the film on hold. But, now the banner also does not really have a good slate and the writer-director and actor of the film has finished writing the film and wants to take it on the floor. The superstar has also got busy experimenting with cinema which has not had worked for him. This iconic character is something people identfy with him which actually is borrowed from another superstar of the ’70s. We hope the superstar realises that fans love seeing him in such films and prevents the makers from going to another actor and grab the chance to become the iconic character which has gone missing for nearly seven years.
