Guess Who: Film With Two Ex-Lovers Gets Shelved

Filmfare has published a blind item about an upcoming film which had two ex-lovers in the cast getting shelved.

After the movie with the casting coup of the decade was shelved, this is the second film to meet the same fate. This movie too had a ensemble star cast, including two ex-lovers. Both have moved on to stable relationships, but their history keeps fans intrigued, which leads to huge box office hits. We wonder what has gotten into the heroine & her fashion choices? Must be her husband’s influence.

Both the ex-lovers have been known to be promiscuous. Thankfully there have no linkup rumors of the actress post getting married. The young superstar ex-BF too is going steady with his actress GF.

As senior superstar mentioned in the blind item is having trouble at home. His wife has passed a diktat against him working with an actress, with whom he had an affair recently. The actress broke up with her foreigner BF, after he questioned her about the alleged affair with the married superstar.

Speaking of the movie, it is entirely possible that the lead actors deliberately did not give dates for the movie as they weren’t keen on working with the director. The director was outed in the MeToo movement. The heroine faced a lot of flak for signing a movie a tainted director. This may have discouraged her from doing the movie.

Blind Item

Few months back when reports of this heartthrob coming in a film starring a senior actor known for his action oriented as well as serious characters came to the forefront, the audience rejoiced. It was also confirmed that the film would be helmed by a director who has a popular and successful comedy film franchise to his name. However, only recently it was reported that the heartthrob’s ex-flame who happens to be a big superstar too would be seen in the film as well.

The ex-lovers have worked together before and are a successful on-screen duo and are also on friendly terms post their break-up as both of them have moved ahead in life. However, a little birdie confirmed that the project has been called off. Reason? Well, with such big actors coming together date issues can always play party pooper and so is the case here too. After a lot of back and forth, the makers of the film couldn’t get the dates of all the stars and hence the film has been put in the back burner. Sad much.
