This two part period epic made by South Indian filmmaker, starring two South Indian male leads broke all existing box office records. The hero of the franchise was catapulted to the A-list. He is arguably India’s biggest box office superstar. As per a source, rumors of a thid part in the franchise are indeed true. The filmmaker toyed with several ideas but wasn’t convinced with any of the storylines. But he has finally cracked the script. The hero has greenlit the project. He was earlier reluctant to invest time & get into shape. He was hoping that his last release – directed by a third rate director would do well. But it bombed upon release. It was a much needed wake up call for the star. He is working only with credible filmmakers from now on & is not accessible to the low rate ones.
The superstar has three movies lined up. He will commence work on the third installment of the blockbuster franchise only after shooting for these movies. Fans of his hit movie which released three years back have been awaiting the movie’s sequel. The movie did not gross as much as expected but won the box office clash opposite a Bollywood superstar.
