Bigg Boss is back, and once again the nation’s most-watched controversy factory has opened its doors. Season 19 of the iconic Hindi reality show kicked off in August 2025, with megastar Salman Khan returning as host — a role he’s owned for well over a decade now. As always, the format stays true to its roots: strangers from wildly different walks of life, locked together under constant camera surveillance, forced to navigate friendships, fights, and forming alliances while the entire country watches.
A House Full of Familiar Faces and Fresh Ones
This year’s mix leans heavily on television familiarity paired with social media stardom, a combination the show has increasingly relied on to pull in both older loyal viewers and a younger, scroll-happy audience.
