From Engineering Classrooms to Television Screens
Reva Kaurase was born in 1996 in Nagpur, Maharashtra, and her story doesn’t start on a film set — it starts in an engineering college. She earned a degree in Electrical Engineering before deciding that acting, not circuitry, was where her heart truly belonged. It’s an unusual pivot in an industry usually filled with people who trained for the camera from a young age, and it’s one she’s spoken about as simply choosing to follow what she actually wanted to do, degree or no degree.
That decision took her first into modeling, and later onto the big screen, where she made her debut with the South Indian film Seeta Manohara Sri Raghava in 2021. From there, she moved steadily into television, taking on roles that showed real range. She played Rimjhim Sharma opposite Arjun Bijlani in Pyaar Ka Pehla Adhyay: Shiv Shakti (2024), and more recently stepped into much darker territory as Alisha, the show’s antagonist, in the Hindi serial Deewaniyat (2025), sharing screen space with Vijayendra Kumeria.
