The 2nd installment of a franchise is being made. Two A-list superstars will star in the sequel to the movie which released during the pandemic. The A-list male lead’s actress wife will be seen in a cameo in the sequel. She was the female lead of the 1st part. As per a source, the original script for the 1st part had a twist in the end – the heroine turns out to be the villain. But the film producer, who was also the mentor of the heroine changed the script to keep the character positive. The movie made losses for the studio upon release but was marketed as a hit. A new producer has been brought on board, but he has made it clear that the hero’s real life wife won’t have a major role in the sequel. Her part as been reduced to an extended cameo.
The film’s hero & the studio boss who bankrolled the first part literally begged for the heroine of the 1st part to be included in the sequel. The script did not require her presence in the film. The new producer is a cinema buff & did not want to alter the script’s vision. He eventually gave in & agreed for the role to be reduced to a cameo to keep the hero of his movie happy.
