Bollywood Blind Item: Cold War Between Actresses

Two female stars being good friends is rare in showbiz. Two female stars working together on a project is a nightmare for their respective teams. Two stars who have acted in several films down South & in Bollywood movies as well, have been having a cold war since several years. As per a source, they once had a physical altercation at a party. Their PR teams covered the fight up & avoided a PR nightmare. But they are getting difficult to handle on the sets of their Bollywood movie starring a star kid. The movie is directed by the star kid's father. They have had several spats on the sets of the movie & the makers ensure that they are kept away from each other. They fear that they may end up having another physical altercation if they are in the same room again. The star kid hero is playing the peacemaker betweent the two. Both the heroines are very adamant about not sharing screen space together & don't want to promote the movie together either.

While male rivals are mostly diplomatic around each other & even try to portray that they are cordial, female stars ain't so easy. They don't bother hiding their mutual hatred & never miss a chance to take potshots at each other. Just look at the comments female stars have made at each other during press conferences. It will make male stars come across as sober. Although, one must admit that male stars are way more devious. Male stars force newbie heroines to hook up with them in exchange for steady stream of acting jobs & slyly edit out good scenes of character artistes.
