Bollywood Blind Item: Studio Boss Not Sure About His Spy Thriller

This studio boss doesn't have the Midas touch that he once had. While his studio continues to remain a force to reckon with in Bollywood, several of their marquee films have failed to ignite the box office on fire. The studio's previous films are under fire currently for promoting bonhomie with an enemy nation & for whiteashing their crimes. As per a source, the studio will be going ahead with the theatrical release of their next - a spy thriller starring a female superstar. The studio boss has been advised to not go for a theatrical release, but he is left with no choice. He doesn't want to antagonise the female lead. He has some big projects planned with her & her superstar husband. They have been speaking to several PR firms except the one which handles her arch rival & has been promoting a blockbuster spy thriller with a contrasting POV. Meanwhile, the female superstar seems to have fallen out with her mentor. He did not wish her on her birthday!

The mentor was planning a movie with the female superstar, but she did not seem too excited to star in the movie. This did not go down well with her mentor. He felt that she was distancing herself from him & his studio for quite sometime. She has been giving more weightage to other filmmakers. The PR agencies have been tasked with creating sympathy for her & try their best to make her apy thriller a success. She has been sending out feelers to the makers of the blockbuster spy thriller that release recently. She is not averse to working with the filmmaker either. She is just wary of the backlash her movie is about to receive owing to the narrative of the widely accepted blockbuster spy thriller with a contrasting view.
