Bollywood Blind Item: Superstar Isn't Bothered

This movie, which is on its way to becoming a blockbuster success, is the only topic of discussion among industry folk these days. Fans & celebs alike can't seem to get enough of the movie. But very few celebs have spoken about the movie. Many fans have been posting about the lack of support for the movie from other celebs. Some leftist film journos have labeled the movie as a propaganda movie. Many are also claiming that the hero's peer - Bollywood's biggest superstar- is getting sleepless nights. As per a source, this rumor is nothing but a figment of someone's imagination. The superstar isn't bothered with the success of the movie as he is in a good space currently. His last release was a blockbuster hit & he has the most enviable lineup of movies ahead. Rumors of him timing the grih pravesh pooja to take the sheen away from the movie, too, are baseless.

Whether a movie is propaganda or a real portrayal of events is irrelevant. All the audience cares about is getting entertained. They were okay with movies showing enemy spies as friends & they are okay with them being called out for their evil schemes. It is surprising how a respected trade portal is calling out the box office figures of the movie. They did not show the same enthusiasm while calling out the box office manipulation done by other A-list celebs. But have been attacking this particular movie for barely a 10% variation in the numbers. Is the relative lack of clout of the filmmaker-producer the reason? Many celebs aren't openly supporting the movie as they don't want to alienate their Pakistani fans. Lastly, the makers not promoting the movie down South was a huge missed opportunity.
