This A-list superstar has been one of the biggest names in the industry for more than three decades. He has given several blockbusters in his career & several of his movies set box office records. As per a source, he is depressed. He is unsure about his next move. He is happy with the success of his last movie, but feels it succeeded because strong word of mouth & not his brand pull at the box office - which was the case for several decades. One can expect him to talk about patriotism, intellectual cinema in his interviews. He considered milking the success of his cult movies by making their sequels. He even mentioned one sequel in an interview. But he doesn't want to pursue it anymore as the filmmaker who made the original South Indian movie & the Hindi version starring the A-lister is no longer a bankable filmmaker. He is yet to green light any project with him as the main lead. He has kept himself busy producing movies.

The A-list superstar has earned the respect of the audiences by constantly working on his craft. He was one of the first actors in the 90's to take up only one project a year - which was the norm in Hollywood, but was unheard of in Bollywood. He is very passionate & involves himself in every aspect of filmmaking. This habit of getting involved in every department of filmmaking often gets mistaken as interference. But he knows that he is the star of the movie & the buck stops with him. If the movie flops, he is the one who will end up paying the biggest price.
