Cricketers are idolized across our country. Cricket is a religion & the stars of cricket are literally worshipped. Our cricketers also get a lot of femalt attention. Cricketers end up hooking up with their fans, but it doesn’t make the news are they are discreet. As per a source, a fan of a young right handed batsman approached him via his manager & hooked up with him. He then passed her over to a wicketkeeper-batsman & part of the WC winning team. The wicketkeeper-batsman then passed her over to an allrounder – who was also part of the WC winning squad. Before she knew it she was a cricket groupie! The allrounder had a fallout with her & he threatened to make her nude pics viral. She approached the arrounder’s cricketer’s brother for help. Luckily for her the matter was resolved.
Cricketers, movie stars, standup comics, sports stars, TV stars have groupies – women or in some cases men who are willing to sleep with all the stars. They are physically & emotionally abused by the stars who exploit them. As these groupies are not celebs, these hookups don’t catch any attention. Many Hollywood movies have been made on groupies. It is openly discussed in Hollywood. But this phenomenon is barely even mentioned in India.
