UPSC CSE (UPSC Civil Services Examination)

UPSC CSE Exam 2025 is conducted by the UPSC to recruit eligible candidates for the various government positions, including IAS, IFS, and IPS. It is conducted in three phases: a preliminary examination consisting of two objective-type papers (Paper I consisting of General Studies and Paper II, referred to as the Civil Service Aptitude Test or CSAT), and a main examination consisting of nine papers of conventional (essay) type, in which two papers are qualifying and only marks of seven are counted; finally followed by a personality test (interview)

 

JEE Advanced

JEE Advanced is an academic examination held annually in India that tests the skills and knowledge of applicants in physics, chemistry, and mathematics. JEE Advanced Exam consists of two mandatory, 3-hour papers each, making for a total of 6 hours of testing in a computer-based format. Both papers cover Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics and include various question types, such as Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs), Numerical Answer Type (NAT) questions, and matching-type questions.

 

GATE

The Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) is a prestigious national-level examination. The examination assesses the candidates for a comprehensive understanding of different undergraduate-level subjects in Engineering, Technology, Science, Commerce, Arts, Architecture, and Humanities. GATE 2026 is being conducted by IISc and all IITs; IIT Guwahati is the Organizing Institute for GATE 2026. GATE 2026 will have a total of 30 test papers comprising full and sectional papers. A new sectional paper on Energy Science (XE-I) is introduced in the Engineering Sciences (XE) paper.

CAT

The Common Admission Test (CAT) is a computer-based test for admission to graduate management programs. The test consists of three sections: Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension, Data Interpretation and Logical Reasoning, and Quantitative Ability. The test is conducted annually by one of the Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs) based on a rotation policy. Three 40-minute sessions will be held to conduct the CAT 2025 exam. A total of 120 minutes will be given. CAT Exam pattern will consist of multiple-choice questions and non-multiple-choice questions or TITA (Type In The Answer) questions for admissions into top colleges for MBA. Candidates must hold a bachelor's degree, with not less than 50% or equal CGPA (45% for Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), and Persons with Disability (PWD)/Differently Able (DA) classification)
