'Raju Chacha': The action comedy film featuring Ajay Devgn, Kajol, and the late Rishi Kapoor celebrated its 23rd anniversary on Thursday. Kajol and Ajay Devgn celebrated the occasion by going down memory lane and talking about their time spent on the movie set with Rishi Kapoor.

"Reflecting on 23 years of Raju Chacha, a film that holds my heart for many reasons, Anil's directorial debut paved the way for me to embody Raju, a man deeply rooted in emotion, despite walking on the wrong side of the law," Ajay Devgn said, sharing a photo of a cassette tape. I was able to work with children on this film for the first time, which made the whole process much more enjoyable. I also got to share the screen with Rishi Ji for the first time, which is a memory I will always treasure. And through it all, both on and off screen, Kajol was my rock solid partner, providing constant support. Upon reflection, all I can feel is thankfulness for being a part of this movie!

Kajol posted a movie poster to Instagram with the comment, "RajuChacha is and always will be an epic memory." First of all, it was my one and only movie with the actor #RishiKapoor, whose acting abilities have always amazed me. It was a privilege to collaborate with him on that movie, as he was the most incredible performer I have ever seen."

She also remembered the time during the film's production when the whole Devgan family moved to Ooty for ninety days. "Secondly, we spent almost ninety days living in this fantasy land that we built atop a mountain in Ooty! That is definitely something that will stick in your memory. For three months, the entire Devgan family made their home there!"Mom, dad all!" she exclaimed.

The main character of the film Raju Chacha, "Raju," is recruited to pretend to be an uncle to three abandoned children in order to steal their fortune. But after meeting and falling in love with their governess, he has second thoughts and chooses to take on the avaricious relatives.

Directed by Anil Devgan, the late brother of Ajay. Johnny Lever, comedy king Ajay, Kajol, and Rishi Kapoor made up an amazing ensemble cast for the movie. 2020 saw Kajol and Ajay feature in a number of high-profile films, including "Gundaraj," "Ishq," "Pyar to Hona Hi Tha," "Dil Kya Kare," and most recently, the historical action movie "Tanhaji: The unsung warrior.”
