Allu Arjun's Pushpa Called "Fake Hit in North" as Netizens Bash Him Over His Zomato Ad

The hero of the movie, Allu Arjun, has become the recent favorite of the south Indian audience and many Bollywood fans. People have showered the movie and the actor with a lot of love on social media platforms, and the songs and hook steps of the choreographies have become viral on the internet. Allu Arjun’s performance was beyond praise and he played his character so well, that people have started referring to him as Pushpa. The movie was directed by director Sukumar, and it broke many records at the box office. It made a total of Rs. 335 crores, making it one of the most successful movies in India, post-pandemic.

The Zomato ad starts with our hero, Allu Arjun, running towards a group of goons and punches one of them as he reaches near. After getting punched, the goon begins to fall in slow motion. While falling, he calls out to the actor and says to make him fall a bit faster. At this moment, Allu Arjun replies by saying that this is how South movies are made. At the end of the commercial, Allu is seen doing his Pushpa gesture which is quite famous.
While one part of the audience loved this ad and how the actor was seen in his Pushpa character, another part did not appreciate how South Indian movies were mocked in the commercial. Many fans took to Twitter to express their feelings towards the ad and how they were disappointed with Allu Arjun for being a part of an ad that mocks the entire style of South Indian movies. People accused the actor of forgetting his roots since he was seen mocking South Indian films while being a South Indian actor himself. Many people also commented that actors should not agree to do absolutely anything just for the sake of getting some money.
