Is Samrat Prithviraj Chauhan Guilty of Glorifying Jauhar?

Prithviraj Chauhan is in the theatreanow! Have you watched the film yet? It is the story of the great Samrat Prithviraj Chauhan. The female lead is played by Manushi Chillar she played the role of queen Sanyogita.

In the movie Manushi Chillar who plays queen Sanyogita commits jauhar after her husband Samrat Prithviraj Chauhan loses to Muhammad Ghori. The queen is shown to sing a valorous song with her courtesans as she jumps into the pyre. The makers are definitely guilty of glorifying the act. This is not at all in line with today's sensibilities. What are your views on the it? 

Do you think the makers are guilty or they were just potraiting what actually happened during that time. Well, when we are watching a historical story we must have a open mind for accepting the fact that the scene might not be something the makers want to glorify but they want the audience to have a feel of what actually happened during the time. 

The film has not performed so well on the box office? What do you think can be the reason behind it? Is it the over exposure of Akshay Kumar?
