KGF Chapter 2 Final Worldwide Box Office Collections

KGF Chapter 2 has more or less exhausted its run at the box office. It is still running in a few centres in its tenth week but they will barely add to its box office tally and the business is as good as closing. The sum total box office collections of KGF 2 in India are Rs. 992 crores approx to date. The movie grossed another $27 million internationally for a wide-reaching gross of Rs. 1198 crores approx, presently shy of Rs. 1200 crores mark. At the moment the math does have film under Rs. 1200 crores, but as there is no centralised box office tracking in India and there is a lot of estimation caught up in many of the tracking regions, with estimation there is a possibility of overestimation or underestimation to some degree, so for every practical reason, it's as fine as Rs. 1200 crores. 
It became the third movie in history to make Rs. 100 crores plus on opening day in India which was released in April. The film continued to gather in moolahs for many more weeks to come, making it the second-highest grosser ever in India, just at the back of Baahubali 2 and by beating RRR by almost Rs. 90 crores. The movie mobilized over 5 crores viewers to cinemas in India, with a final admits count of approximately Rs. 5.25 crores, which makes it the third-highest in the 21st century.
KGF 2 scored blockbuster numbers across the world which is very rare. RRR also did over Rs. 900 crores in India but in this case, it was Telugu states that did the grave lifting, while performance somewhere else ranged from ‘hit’ to ‘super hit’ levels. KGF 2 on other hand was amongst the top grossers in every region, attaining the second spot in all-time grossers in North India, third in Kerala, eighth in AP/TS and ninth in Tamil Nadu. It was a parallel case internationally, RRR did more than half of its business in just one market i.e. North America while KGF 2 did bumper biz everywhere whether it was the Middle East or Australia or Malaysia or Nepal or Europe.
