Aashiqui Actress Anu Aggarwal Struggles To Do Her Comeback Despite Aggressive PR

Actress Anu Aggarwal rose to fame from Mahesh Bhatt’s Aashqui in the year 1990. It was one of the most successful films of that year. The music was a rage, and it is still popular among the masses. When Anu marked her acting debut, she was already an iconic fashion model.
Her pairing with Rahul Roy became talk of the town soon after they were introduced in the film. There is a surge in Anu’s fan following right after the film re-released. However, the plot of the film wasn’t extraordinary enough, but the music took over everything.
Anu’s life turned upside down when she met with a horrific accident in 1999 while driving back home from a party in Mumbai. She suffered from memory loss and partial paralysis. She was in a coma for about a month. In due course of time, Anu disappeared from films.
Now, the actress runs a yoga academy and is willing to comedians on screen. A source close to the actress reveals, “Anu is indulging in an aggressive public relations process to be seen and visible in the mainstream culture of films. She is even looking for the right talent and casting team to manage her work and guide her through the current situation.”
“Anu is making public appearances in award shows, she is being papped casually and during her meetings around Mumbai city. She wants to pursue acting with meaningful and substantial roles,” the source adds.
It is interesting to see whether Anu would be able to do desired roles with the constant PR activities.
Besides Aashiqui, Anu was also seen in films like Khalnaaika, King Uncle, Return of Jewel Thief to name a few.
