Aamir Khan and his whole family attended the wedding festivities of Ira Khan, who recently wed Nupur Shikhare. Aamir's first wife, Reena Dutta, gave birth to a daughter named Ira. Filmmaker Kiran Rao, Aamir's ex-wife, was also there for Ira and Nupur's wedding and enthusiastically participated in the festivities. Kiran recently discussed her relationship with Aamir and his family in an interview. She also disclosed that, apart from Aamir, she spends time with Reena Dutta!

Kiran Rao discussed her strong relationship with Aamir Khan, Reena Dutta, and other people in a recent interview with The Week. She claimed that being "inclusive" comes rather easy to them as a people. She added that her family didn't have to worry about it because they were also present at the wedding of Ira Khan and Nupur Shikhare. "Our family is here. In fact, we all come together for supper on Monday nights," Kiran Rao added.
Kiran Rao discloses that she resides in the same housing complex as the family of Aamir Khan.
They all reside in the same housing society, she continued. Reena Dutta resides next door to her mother-in-law, who resides above, while Aamir's cousin Nuzhat Khan resides close by. Her sisters-in-law occupy the upstairs as well. According to Kiran, it's because they genuinely like one other as people. She added that she spends time with Reena and Nuzhat apart from Aamir. "You shouldn't lose these relationships in the event of a divorce. We may have broken up as a marriage, but Aamir and I are still very much a family. Our divorce wasn't contentious," she continued.
Kiran Rao went on to say that a person is losing out on something if they don't have a family connection after a marriage.
For those who don't know, Aamir Khan was previously married to Reena Dutta, with whom he has two children: Ira Khan and Junaid Khan. Following sixteen years of marriage, they divorced. Azad Rao Khan is the son of Aamir's marriage to Kiran Rao. 15 years into their marriage, they declared their split in 2021.
