From "Lollipop" to "Aaraattu,"  Here Are Some Films That Have The Most Underwhelming Endings

Bheeshma Parvam

Every movie's conclusion must be carefully written if it is to succeed. A movie's overall impact and the audience's level of satisfaction might be negatively impacted by a weak climax. Let's look at some of the Malayalam films with the worst endings right now.

Lollipop

"Lollipop," starring Prithviraj Sukumaran, is already a shambles despite some funny comedy performances from legendary actor Suraj Venjaramoodu. The movie also had a terrible storyline and an illogical and unsatisfying climax. In the climax, it is revealed that Jayasurya's character has already passed away and that Jagathy's character has been hearing the narration from his ghost. Jayasurya's character tells the story throughout. Every viewer racked their brains over this illogical scenario, and for the same reason, moviegoers did not warm to the film.

Hello I'm Tony

It's a typical problem for a movie to have a poor climax that will harm the movie as a whole if it belongs to the psychological thriller genre. The Asif Ali-starring film "Hello I'm Tony" began as a solid psychological thriller, but by the time it reached its climax, director Lal Jr. had failed to deliver on his promise of an unexpected conclusion, and the film ended up being unsatisfactory.

Bheeshma Parvam

The Amal Neerad and Mammootty movie "Bheeshma Parvam" isn't entirely detestable, but it did have a disappointing conclusion. Although the lead role of Michael in "Bheeshma Parvam" was designed to showcase Mammootty's strong persona, the film ultimately sapped all of his strength and gave it to a weak character played by Soubin Shahir who was not even able to execute the climax moments flawlessly. Even Mammootty lovers are disappointed in the "Bheeshma Parvam" conclusion.

Aaraattu

The clearest illustration of how a bad and cliché ending can ruin an entertaining movie is found in Mohanlal's most recent film. The B Unnikrishnan-directed film "Aaraattu" began as a solid action comedy that pays homage to the Mollywood action comedies of the 1990s and finished on a very dismal note. The ending of the movie, where Mohanlal's character is revealed to be an undercover spy, drew a lot of criticism, and they even teased the audience with a sequel!
