Guess Who – Character’s Web Spin Off

Rajeev Masand has published a blind item in Open The Magazine about the web spin off of a popular movie character from the early 2000’s.

Her character was much loved when the movie released several years back. There were rumors that she was having an affair with her co-star. Her co-star was dating someone else, so their romance met its tragic end. A source once told us that her co-star’s GF’s father had contacts with the underworld. Shortly after her co-star’s father was shot for a ransom demand, he got a call from the underworld asking him to stay loyal to his GF & breakup with his heroine. Her co-star, who feared for his daddy’s life had no option but to breakup with her & get married to his GF. She is rumored to have wept for several days over him getting married to someone else.

Several years later, her co-star divorced his wife allegedly due to his cheating. She on the other is married to another actor & has a young son with him. Her husband is rumored to have got jittery when he heard about her co-star’s divorce. But she reassured him that he had nothing to worry. She will definitely reminisce the good times she had with her co-star when she works on this spin off!

Blind Item

One of Bollywood’s favourite glamorous actresses who is now also one of its favourite glamorous mothers (even as she continues to seek out only a few but interesting film roles) is expected to do a digital series that will see her revisit her most popular film role to date. She played a self-absorbed, self-loving bimbo in her breakout role a bunch of years ago in a massive multi-starrer. Now she could appear in a web spin-off that focuses on her character and produced by the same filmmaker who helmed the movie.

Although she was initially hesitant about reprising the role— understandably, given that many years have passed since the film and she’s considerably older now—the filmmaker and his team reportedly convinced her that the show would be a swell way to introduce that character to a new generation of viewers. Also he wasn’t asking her to play the character at that age; the show would track the flaky but lovable young girl to find out where she is today.
