Has Akshay Kumar become producer's worst nightmare?

Akshay made his leading acting debut in Bollywood with the film Saugandh in 1991. But his breakthrough film was Khiladi in 1992. And since then Akshay has been a hit machine. For a long time, Akshay Kumar was one of Bollywood's leading stars who gave many hits. Although after a few flops it became very difficult for him to get going. So, he started to work on many projects at once and seems to be completing them all very quickly. 

But now, Akshay Kumar has become the producer's worst nightmare. His most recent release is Sarfira, which is the remake of Blockbuster Soorarai Pottru/Aakasam Nee Haddu raa by Suriya. However, the movie has been able to receive the expected love from the audience as the original one gained.

As per reports, the day one box office receipts for Sarfira had become the lowest opening in fifteen years for Akshay Kumar. 

Only good word-of-mouth is not enough to get crowds to the theaters. Apparently, he was paid 100 crores, and seeing the box office collection this is a significant loss. The movie might not have been able to collect 10 crore also at the box office. Thus, news has been spread that Akshay Kumar might become a producer's worst nightmare.

Akshay Kumar is being very nonchalant about all the criticism he has received. He revealed in an interview that he only worked 12 days in OMG 2, as he doesn't wanted to put pressure on producers and directors. Currently, Akshay is working on Jolly LLB 3. 

Akshay Kumar is always experimenting with unique roles and colllaborations. He will next be seen in Rohit Shetty's Singham Again. Akshay Kumar and Arshad Warsi are currently filming Jolly LLB 3. Arshad Warsi was in the first installment of Jolly LLB whereas Akshay was in the second installment that is Jolly LLB 2, and now for the 3rd part both will be seen together, fans are eagerly waiting to see the movie.
