From Kalki, 2898 AD Kalki 2898 AD was the best third week for a Hindi release in 2024, indicating not only Munjya's success at the box office but also the dismal performance of other films in the first half of the year. Munjya opened to net collections of Rs 4 crores in India, which were already considered good given the film's new cast. The fact that the film has approached Rs 100 crores after a modest start of Rs 4 crores demonstrates the horror comedy's popularity.
