The film made ₹ 4 crore on its first day of release and had a successful opening weekend, earning ₹ 7.25 crore on day 2 and ₹ 8 crore on day 3. The film earned over ₹ 30 crore on Thursday. The film has grossed ₹ 35.15 crore in India. With a major release this week in the form of Chandu Champion, it will be vital to see if Munjya can maintain his momentum in the following days. The study also stated that Munjya had 16.40 percent Hindi occupancy on Thursday.

 

Munjya takes place in Pune and the Konkan region of Maharashtra. The film tells the narrative of an eponymous mythical creature from the world of Indian belief and culture. It was produced by Dinesh Vijan's Maddock Films and Amar Kaushik and is the latest installment to the horror comedy universe, following Stree (2018), Roohi (2021), and Bhediya (2022).
