According to a resource, Munjya has received ₹ 35 crore in its first week. In Munjya, a CGI ghost enters the horror comedy realm of Stree and Bhediya.

According to the most recent reports, Munjya's seventh-day collections have decreased slightly. Munjya earned ₹ 3.75 crore on Thursday, according to early estimates. The film made ₹ 4 crore on its first day of release and had a successful opening weekend, earning ₹ 7.25 crore on day 2 and ₹ 8 crore on day 3. The film earned over ₹ 30 crore on Thursday. The film has grossed ₹ 35.15 crore in India. With a major release this week in the form of Chandu Champion, it will be vital to see if Munjya can maintain his momentum in the following days. The study also stated that Munjya had 16.40 percent Hindi occupancy on Thursday.

 

Munjya takes place in Pune and the Konkan region of Maharashtra. The film tells the narrative of an eponymous mythical creature from the world of Indian belief and culture. It was produced by Dinesh Vijan's Maddock Films and Amar Kaushik and is the latest installment to the horror comedy universe, following Stree (2018), Roohi (2021), and Bhediya (2022). Varun Dhawan also makes a surprise appearance as his character in Bhediya during the Munjya post-credit scene.
