Returning with another thrilling episode from the eighth season of his conversation programme Koffee With Karan. This time, he was joined for an intriguing session by the dynamic combination and closest friends, actor Ajay Devgn and filmmaker Rohit Shetty. The celebrities discussed the upcoming generation of actors and their approaches to failure.

Ajay Devgn and Rohit Shetty, the hosts of Koffee With Karan, talked about how the industry used to be a close-knit community decades ago. At this point, the host requested them to offer their opinions on the contemporary Bollywood actors.

Filmmaker Rohit Shetty has talked about how younger actors need to get social media acceptance.
As they talk about why it takes so long for up-and-coming actors to accept a part, Rohit and Ajay remember the days when movie stars trusted their instincts and didn't rely on social media validation.

"I believe they have too much insecurity or too much validation they need from strangers on social media," Rohit retorted. I believe that they are quite insecure; I'm not sure why, but perhaps it's just that they were raised in a different generation.

"I mean, I'm not saying that this is sacrosanct, but I think they go on their instinct," Karan continued. "I love that when you go to Ajay or Shah Rukh, Salman, and Akshay, after a point, they will say mujhe 20 minutes mein kahaani bata do and after 20 minutes they understand the world of the film because they have an understanding, today you go to these younger actors."

"They want to ghuso into every scene, conversation, and lengthy narration, and then they take too long to get back to you and you are waiting," he continued. "I'm not saying they're wrong. Actors from the elder generation respond to you right away.
