Salman proposed Faiza on 9th Dec 2000. They dated for around ten years before getting married. Faiza used to work for an airline and had to travel to diffrent places and Salman was busy in his shootings. They were unable to give eavh other the required time but they managed to survive the long distance relationship. They got engaged in 2013 on the same date on which he proposed her. In the same year, the couple got married with a Nikaah ceremony at Bangalore. 

On their honeymoon, they did something different and didn't go for a beach or a hill. They went skydiving and watched a cricket match together. The couple was blessed with a baby boy in 2016.
