The Indian Air Force's air strike on Pakistan following a terrorist incident is featured in the Fighter trailer. Hania Aamir, Adnan Siddiqui, and numerous more Pakistani actors chastised the trailer upon its release. Director Siddharth Anand appears to have responded to the criticism of his X (formerly known as Twitter) presently.
Siddharth included a contemplating face emoji in response to a tweet on Hania Aamir's most recent Instagram Stories. The tweet said, "Did she really work on an anti-Indian movie? Why do Pakistani celebrities care so much about the anti-Indian things that their Indian counterparts do in films if Indian celebrities don't mind?”

Regarding Hania Aamir's remark, she shared her opinions on her Instagram Stories immediately following the debut of the Fighter teaser on January 15. "It's sad and unfortunate to know that there are artists in this day and age who understand the power of film but still feed the rift between the two countries," the writer added. I have sympathy for artists who attempt to close the gap by using their art as a vehicle for communication. Repulsive; give art room to breathe."

Film actor Adnan Siddiqui from Pakistan stated that it was 'disheartening' to see Pakistanis portrayed as villains in Bollywood, without specifically mentioning the title of the movie. "Once celebrated for love, Bollywood now crafts hate-filled narratives, portraying us as villains," was the tweet that he posted. Even though we adore your flicks, this is depressing. Since art knows no bounds, let's use it to spread love and harmony. Politics has victimized two nations, and they both deserve better."
