Was Bholaa A Hit Or Flop? Read About Budget, Box Office Collections & Verdict

Bhoola is a Bollywood action thriller film which was released in March 2023. The film is directed by Ajay Devgn and is produced by Ajay Devgn Films, Reliance Entertainment, T-Series Films, and Dram Warrior Pictures. The film is a remake of the Tamil, Kaithi from 2019. Today, let us talk if the film was a hit or flop. 

The film is not an exact copy of the Tamil film, Kaithi as the makers made a lot of changes to make it more entertaining. You can watch some unique action scenes in the film by the actor. Nowadays, the film usually take action scenes from Hollywood or Tollywood but here they tried to bring in something unique. 

The film was available on 2300 screen all over the world, 2000 of them where in India and the 300 where of other countries. The film was made on an approximate budget of Rs 100 crore. So lets see how much money it made on the box office. 

Bhoola ranked third after Pathaan and Tu Joothi Mein Makkar for the opening day collection but this was below the expectation after knowing the budget of the film and that Ajay Devgn had just done Drishyam 2 and Bhoola's opening was less than that of Drishyam 2.

Worldwide Collection = ₹ 123 Cr

Overseas Collection = ₹ 15 Cr

India Gross Collection = ₹ 108 Cr

Bholaa Budget: ₹ 100 Cr

The film did good on the opening day but to be a hit it had to collect around 150 crores but as we see it collected around Rs123 crores. So what do you think was it a hit or flop? Though it had crossed the budget and hit the century in just 13 days we can't call it a superhit.
