When Virat Kohli Spoke About His First Meeting With Anushka Sharma.

Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma are not only well-known in their fields, but they are also among India's most photographed and followed celebrities. They have a huge fan base on social media, with people keeping track of even the smallest details of their lives.

The couple welcomed a baby girl on January 11th. They are now enjoying time with their little bundle of joy at home. Virat also changed his Twitter bio to "a proud husband and father" after his daughter was born. 

 We have come across a throwback interview of Virat talking about the first time he met Anushka.

So, how did Virat meet Anushka? The cricketer revealed that he met Anushka for the first time in 2013 while shooting a commercial for a hair shampoo brand.

When Virat's manager told him that the shoot will be with Anushka Sharma, Virat joked that he must be kidding because he couldn't imagine being in the same frame as a professional actor. 

Virat cracked a joke during the shoot when he met the actor for the first time because he was anxious and panicky and didn't know what else to do.

Virat said she is tall and she was told that I am not 6 feet or plus. He said he felt he was being funny and said something that wasn't the best thing to say.

When Anushka entered in a pair of tiny heels, she appeared to be taller than him, and virat to Anushka nervously asked, ‘didn't you get a higher pair of heels than these? 'Excuse me,' she said. Virat responded, "I was just kidding!"

Later while recalling these moments he said, My joke became such a weird moment for me. I was such a fool, to be honest. She was so confident.

The shooting for the commercial went on for three days and during this time, both Anushka and Virat realized they had so much in common. Both of them belonged to middle-class families and they have worked hard to attain a certain position in their respective careers.

  He told Graham Besinger on his show,"Our lives have been so similar but in very different worlds." This was the start of a relationship built on mutual appreciation and respect.
