Aslam Inamdar was born on 23rd February 2000 in Taklibhan village, Ahmednagar district, Maharashtra. He spent his early days in poor financial condition, especially after his father Baburao Inamdar passed away in 2011. The sudden demise of the sole bread earner put his mother, Laxmibai Inamdar, in great distress, and she had to begin working as a domestic worker to bring up her children.

Faced with Financial Struggles
For his family's livelihood, Aslam was an odd jobber, among which he also worked at a tea stall washing glasses. Despite all these hardships, he was devoted to his education and his passion for kabaddi. His elder brother, Wasim Inamdar, was a gardener and was responsible for Aslam's education. Wasim himself was a kabaddi player, and hence Aslam's participation in the game too was inspired.

Introduction to Kabaddi Society
Aslam began kabaddi at the local level, where his potential was soon revealed. His fierce style of play and perseverance saw him climb the rungs, earning him a place to compete at the state level. His breakthrough opportunity was when he was chosen to play for Puneri Paltan squad in the Pro Kabaddi League (PKL) Season 8 of 2021. He has been a consistent team player since then, his agility, speed, and quick raiding abilities making him one to look out for.

Aslam's younger brother, Ahmed Mustafa Inamdar, has also excelled at playing kabaddi. A defense specialist, Ahmed played marvellously well in the district-level matches, earning heavy tackle points. Good performances made him eligible for a spot in the PKL 2023 auction, where Puneri Paltan retained him to strengthen the team's defense line. As both of them played at the professional level, the kabaddi connection of the family has also intensified.
