A top studio is planning a horror movie with a star. They have worked together in the past & it had lead to a successful collaboration. As per a source, the star was keen on the a newbie actor with a sizeable following. But she is simulatenously working on two projects & doesn’t have the requisite dates. An actress who is the studio favorite has been offered the film. It is not known whether she has accepted the movie. If the studio favorite rejects the movie then a web series star might end up starring in the project.
Despite being part of the industry for several decades & bankrolling several movies, the studio has never ventured into the horror genre. With horror movies working in a big way, it must be enticing for producers to cash in on the genre’s appeal among the audiences.
