This eagerly awaited big budget period war epic is eagerly awaited by fans & the industry alike. The movie is helmed by a renowned filmmaker famous for his extravagant sets. The movie has been getting delayed incessantly. As per a source, the heroine - a female superstar, is the major reason behind the delay. She was hoping that the filmmaker with whom she has worked in the past would give her a meaty role. But she was shocked to learn that her role was inconsequential. It was just as long as her role in a pan India movie directed by India's biggest filmmaker. She threw a fit & threatened to quit the magnum opus unless the script was rewritten. She had after all given bulk dates to the project. She nagged the writers during the rewrite, which ended up hampering the very soul of the movie. This irked her husband - who is also playing the male lead in the movie. He had given bulk dates to the project assuming that it would wrap up quickly, but is frustrated with the incessant delays. His wife sharing better on-screen chemistry with the other hero is also a reason for concern for the male superstar.
Another female superstar & her superstar husband were once the clear favorites of the filmmaker. But after three hugely successful movies with the couple, he wanted to try something new. That's when he moved to another power couple. The previous power couple is annoyed with him for choosing to work with their rivals. The first movie which the filmmaker made with the challenger to the box office throne, was not a hit as it barely recovered its budget. But it was marketed as a hit by the makers & the challenger's mentor. Nobody dared to call them out for these gimmicks owing to their clout.
