From Kareena Kapoor to Salman Khan, Bollywood stars have openly mocked their co-stars.
While many people think of Bollywood as a big family, things aren't always as they seem in the industry. Actors often argue with their co-stars, and although many of these stories are dismissed, we sometimes learn the facts. Many Bollywood stars have openly chastised their co-stars after collaborating on a project with them over the years.
Sometimes it's because of the part they got in the movie, and other times it's because of their direct chemistry.
Although everybody nowadays prefers to be politically correct all of the time, we do get to see the gloves come off now and then.
Check out these Bollywood stars who openly slammed their co-stars:
Kareena Kapoor
Bebo has become Bollywood's Miss Congeniality in recent years, but she wasn't always like this. The actress had a big squabble with her Ajnabee co-star Bipasha Basu over a designer named Vikram Phadnis back in the day. Kareena said in a Filmfare interview, "Her only claim to fame, in my opinion, is that she fought with me over dress designer Vikram Phadnis during the filming of Ajnabee. She made comments that I referred to as derogatory."
Priyanka Chopra
Although the desi girl of Bollywood is now ruling the global stage, she was once embroiled in a verbal fight with Kareena Kapoor. They had previously worked together in Aitraaz and later in Shah Rukh Khan's Don. Bebo once said that Heroine is better than Fashion in a conversation. "Well, I think if you don't have one (National Award), then it's all sour grapes!" PeeCee said in an interview with NDTV after mentioning that her film had earned her a National Award.
Salman Khan
Dabangg Khan isn't one to speak in a politically correct manner. So when Priyanka Chopra decided to drop out of his film Bharat to focus on her marriage to Nick Jonas, he wasn't pleased. The actor said in an interview with Bollywood Hungama, "She preferred the United States over Bharat in the 'nick' of time. She has worked extremely hard her whole life, and when she was offered the biggest film of her career, she turned it down and married. Honourable mention! Typically, women abandon their husbands for this."
Salaam-E-Ishq, Mujhse Shaadi Karogi, and other films feature them together.
Emraan Hashmi
In Koffee with Karan, Emraan mocked his Murder co-star with the choice of words. When asked what he would find if he entered Mallika's bedroom, he replied, "An Idiot's Guide to Succeed in Hollywood."
Kangana Ranaut
The actress is always in the news for her remarks on fellow actors and other items. Her most famous remark, however, was directed at her Tanu Weds Manu co-star Swara Bhasker. In an interview with CNN, she referred to her as a "B-grade actress."
