Actress Malaika Arora's father Anil Mehta took his own life. Yesterday, he was discovered in his apartment on the ground by Ayesha Manor's who is Malaika's mother. They used to live in the 6th floor and his age was sixty-two. The Mumbai Police are looking into every possibility that could have been happened as they investigate his demise.

The Arora family got together on Tuesday night, the night before this happened, and Malaika and her sister Amrita went to their parents' house. Anil talked with his younger daughter Amrita the night before he passed away, a police source informed the media. A source told, "The call data show that he did make a call to Amrita Arora. She was very much his favorite and they are closer." Apparently, he informed his daughters that he was exhausted. He allegedly said, "I am tired," right before taking his own life.

Anil Arora and Joyce Polycarp, his ex-wife, shared a building. He would borrow her newspaper every morning as part of their ritual. But this particular morning, Joyce saw it was just his slippers and that something wasn't right. The corpse of Anil Arora, age 62, has been discovered, DCP Crime Branch Raj Tilak Roshan informed the reporters. He lived on the sixth level. Our crew is here and we are doing more research. When Malaika Arora was eleven years old, Anil Arora and Joyce Polycarp were divorced. Their mother reared Malaika and her sister Amrita in Thane. Malaika lived in a different Bandra flat, but they lately shared a floor with their father.
