The mission is a failure as Ethan chooses his colleague’s life over the mission. This leads to a difficult chase for retrieving the plutonium from the wrong hands. In order to get the plutonium, The White Widow asks Ethan to extract Lane from an armored convoy in Paris. Thus leads to a mind boggling chase sequence which blew our mind away! Strengths
Just the mention of Mission Impossible conjures up images of Tom Cruise doing death defying stunts. Who can forget him dangling at the top of Burj Khailfa? Tom Cruise is the whole & soul of the franchise & he doesn’t disappoint one bit. The action sequences are one of the best we have seen ever! Director Chris Mcquarrie has done a splendid job in making this a action packed edge of the seat thriller. The beauty of the action scenes has to be seen to be believed. The supporting cast which includes new entrant Ilsa(Rebecca Ferguson) is good. We loved the trademark masks, which were again put to good use.
We couldn’t find a single flaw in the movie. That explains our high rating!
Verdict: While we expected this movie to be not as thrilling as its previous installments, the makers did surprise us. This is in fact the best movie in the series! Watch it in the theatres before it goes out!
Our Rating: (5 / 5)
