Salaar, a pan-India action film starring Prabhas, is one of the year's most anticipated movies. Prasanth Neel of KGF fame is directing the film, and much has been reported about its plot, release date, and cast. One thing has now been established. Salaar, as previously believed, will be released in two parts, which Neel previously disputed.

Salaar is a Telugu film that also stars Shruthi Haasan, Prithviraj Sukumaran, and Jagapathi Babu. Several more performers from various film sectors also play supporting roles in the mega-budget picture. Devaraj, a Kannada character actor, is one of them. In a recent interview, the actor confirmed this.

When asked if he would be acting in a Telugu film soon, the actor named Salaar said no. When the interviewer asked him about his character, Devaraj replied in Telugu, "I cannot talk much about my character right now." Yet, the first installment will not reveal anything. The second portion contains more of me." This appears to confirm that Salaar is a two-parter.
Previously, Prasanth Neel responded to such reports by saying that if the film is a two-parter, it will be announced when the time comes. He did not, however, confirm or deny it.

Salaar is slated to be one of the year's biggest films, with a Rs 200-crore budget and a predicted broad release. Madhu Guruswamy, Easwari Rao, and Sriya Reddy also appear in the film. It will be released in dubbed Hindi, Kannada, Tamil, and Malayalam versions in addition to Telugu.

With Prabhas' fame in the north, as well as Neel's previous film's blockbuster numbers, a lot is expected of Salaar in terms of pan-India box office performance. Salaar will be released in theatres on September 28.
