1.Shershah

The movie focuses on the life of Captain Bikram Batra, who received the prestigious Param Vir Chakra award, from his initial army assignment until his death in the Kargil War. The role of Captain Batra was portrayed by Sidharth Malhotra, and Kiara Advani played the part of his love interest. Vishnuvardhan directed the film, which was produced by Karan Johar. 3.URI: The Surgical Strike

Directed by Aditya Dhar, URI: The Surgical Strike is a movie featuring Vicky Kaushal, Paresh Rawal, Yami Gautam, and Kirti Kulhari that centers around the Indian Army. The plot revolves around the military's surgical strike against militant launch pads in Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (POK) in 2016, which was carried out as a response to the killing of 19 Indian soldiers and injury of 30 others. While the film is based on true events, it is presented in a fictionalized manner.

4.Gunjan Saxena: The Kargil Girl

Sharan Sharma helmed the film, which showcases Janhvi Kapoor, Angad Bedi, Pankaj Tripathi, and Manav Vij in prominent roles. The movie is centered on the life of Gunjan Saxena, who was the first Indian Air Force woman to serve the nation in the Kargil War as a flight lieutenant.

5.Bhuj: The Pride of India

The film depicts actual events that occurred during the Indo-Pak war of 1971, showcasing the remarkable story of Indian Air Force Squadron Leader Vijay Karnik's unwavering commitment to duty. With the assistance of 300 local women, he successfully reconstructed a damaged landing strip in just 72 hours. Ajay Devgn and Sonakshi Sinha play the lead roles in the movie.

6.BORDER

Border, a timeless Indian army film, is perfect for a father-son bonding session. The plot is based on the factual account of the Battle of Longewala, where a small contingent of 120 Indian soldiers stationed on the Rajasthan border held off a massive attack by the Pakistani army and their tanks. Even today, a museum and remnants of destroyed Pakistani tanks commemorate the heroic stand taken by the Indian soldiers. 7.LAKSHYA

This coming-of-age story showcases the actor's versatility as he portrays the character's transformation from aimless youth to a determined soldier.

8.PARMANU

Beyond protecting our borders, the Indian Army also takes charge of ensuring that the country possesses the most advanced weaponry, ready to be utilized in times of crisis. The movie Parmanu portrays the actual events of a group of scientists and army officers working tirelessly to enable India to become the sixth nation with nuclear capabilities. One of their main obstacles was avoiding detection from surveillance satellites constantly monitoring their actions.

9.LOC: KARGIL

JP Dutta narrates another story in this movie, which is one of the lengthiest Indian films ever made, clocking in at 255 minutes. The movie's backdrop is once again the Kargil War between India and Pakistan, but it particularly highlights Operation Vijay and the Battle of Tololing.
