Top 10 Zombies Movies Ever Till 2023

In the past, zombie films featured slow, lumbering creatures. The more modern era introduced a faster, more ravenous zombie, chasing down and devouring their human counterparts. The films on this list will leave even the most casual moviegoer exhilarated, terrified, and possibly sick to their stomach. These are the zombie films that don't let up. They begin by engulfing the audience in suspense and refusing to let go until the final frame.

1. Train to Busan

Train to Busan, a pulse-pounding Korean zombie thriller released in 2016, is a modern classic of the genre, possibly the best zombie film of all time. Seok-woo (Gong Yoo) is a divorced workaholic businessman who intends to visit his daughter Su-an (Kim Su-an) in Busan. Seok-woo must summon all of his courage to protect his daughter once aboard the high-speed train leaving Seoul on his way to see his ex-wife, as a viral plague begins spreading quickly throughout the train, transforming the passengers into bloodthirsty savages. The train has been overrun by infected undead, resulting in numerous intense chase scenes through the claustrophobic environment of each train car.

2. Resident Evil

The Capcom zombie video game Resident Evil was adapted into a film starring Milla Jovovich and Michelle Rodriguez by director Paul W.S. Anderson in 2002. The film follows Alice (Jovovich), who awakens in an abandoned mansion with amnesia. Commandos apprehend Alice and transport her to the Hive, a secret underground lab facility. The Hive is owned by the shadowy Umbrella Corporation, which claims to be a medical technology company but actually profits from genetic experiments and bioweapons. The entire laboratory staff has been transformed into flesh-eating monsters, including zombie Dobermans. If Alice and the team are to escape the Hive, they must face them as well as the evil AI trying to kill them known as The Red Queen.

3. Overload

Overlord, a World War II-set zombie action thriller directed by Julius Avery and produced by J.J. Abrams, is a genre mashup of revisionist history and zombie action thriller. A squad of paratroopers, led by Private Boyce (Jovan Adepo) and Corporal Ford (Wyatt Russell), lands behind enemy lines on a mission to destroy a radio tower used by the Nazis, which is housed in an old church. What the crew discovers in the church, on the other hand, is about as ungodly as it gets. Cadavers are reanimated as part of Nazi experiments to breed the perfect super soldier, with horrifying results. The squad must battle the undead creatures for survival.

4. 28 Days Later

In Planet Terror, a motley crew of survivors fights mutant zombies rampaging through their Texas town. While extremely gory, this film is also ridiculously funny, putting a twisted comedic spin on the zombie apocalypse.

8. Zombieland

The audience knows this is not your typical zombie movie from the second Jesse Eisenberg's Columbus lists the rules for surviving in the world during the zombie uprising. The opening credits feature gore pouring in slow motion from the mouths of the undead monsters. Tallahassee (Woody Harrelson) and sisters Wichita (Oscar winner Emma Stone) and Little Rock (Abigail Breslin) accompany Columbus as they drive across the country, hoping to find a safe place away from the undead and their appetites.

The people of Gangnam in Seoul soon begin to experience strange symptoms. Those symptoms turn out to be the early warning signs of a zombie outbreak. It isn't long before flesh-eating monsters descend on the community, forcing a small group of citizens to band together in order to survive this lethal virus that turns people into monsters. This South Korean horror film, directed by Soo Sung Lee and produced by Joy N Cinema, stars Park Ji-yeon, Ji Il-Joo, Cho Kyung-hun, Choi Seong-min, Lee Joo Jeong, and Tak Teu-in.
