
Sunil Chhetri was born onĀ AugustĀ 3, 1984, in Secunderabad, India to KB Chhetri (father) and Sushila Chhetri (mother). Sunil’s father is aĀ resignedĀ officer from the EME Corps of the IndianĀ ArmyĀ whileĀ his mother played for the Nepal Women’s NationalĀ TeamĀ along with her twin sister. He did hisĀ schoolingĀ from Bahai School, Sikkim and graduated from Asutosh College, Kolkata. Sunil Chhetri has a sister Bandana Chhetri.Ā AmidĀ hisĀ initialĀ years, Sunil’s family wasĀ experiencingĀ aĀ money relatedĀ emergencyĀ and he didn’t haveĀ sufficientĀ cashĀ toĀ totalĀ hisĀ objectives.

Sunil Chhetri: Football Career
Sunil ChhetriĀ startedĀ his football career with Mohun Bagan Athletic Club of the National FootballĀ LeagueĀ after playing with City FC ofĀ NewĀ Delhi.Ā DuringĀ hisĀ firstĀ in 2002-03, he scored fourĀ objectivesĀ and the clubĀ finishedĀ at 7th in the table. In 2003-04 season, ChhetriĀ overseenĀ to scoreĀ as it wereĀ twoĀ goalsĀ and the clubĀ finishedĀ at 9th in the table. In hisĀ finalĀ season with Mohun Bagan, he scored twoĀ objectivesĀ and the clubĀ wrapped upĀ at 8th in the table.
In 2005, ChhetriĀ leftĀ Mohun Bagan and joined Jagathit Cotton andĀ TextileĀ Football Club (JCT FC) and played 2005-06 season, where he scored 3Ā goalsĀ and the clubĀ finishedĀ at 6thĀ put. In the 2006-07 season, Chhetri scored 11Ā goalsĀ and the clubĀ wrapped upĀ atĀ momentĀ put.
During hisĀ to begin withĀ season at I-League orĀ LegendĀ I-League, Chhetri scored 7Ā goalsĀ and JCTĀ finishedĀ at third.
In theĀ followingĀ season at I-League, ChhetriĀ signedĀ for East Bengal and theĀ teamĀ won theĀ matchĀ by 3-1 against ChiragĀ Joined together.
On May 22, 2009, ChhetriĀ signedĀ a two-year contract with anotherĀ individualĀ I-League side, Dempo, with a clause thatĀ permittedĀ him toĀ take offĀ for trialsĀ overseasĀ in the future.
OnĀ AdmirableĀ 30, 2009, as per a report by Hindustan Times, ChhetriĀ markedĀ a three-year contract with English FootballĀ AllianceĀ Championship sideĀ RulersĀ StopĀ OfficersĀ but was denied a workĀ allowĀ by the British government as India were not in theĀ beatĀ 70 of the FIFA World Rankings.
OnĀ MarchĀ 24, 2010, ChhetriĀ markedĀ Kansas City Wizards of MajorĀ LeagueĀ Soccer (MLS),Ā becomingĀ theĀ firstĀ Indian to play in MLS and the third to playĀ exteriorĀ Asia. On April 14, 2010, Chhetri made hisĀ debutĀ in the LamarĀ HuntĀ U.S. OpenĀ CupĀ capabilityĀ play-inĀ gameĀ against the Colorado Rapids in which heĀ begunĀ butĀ finishedĀ up with a yellow card and was substituted out of theĀ amusementĀ at half-time as Kansas CityĀ misplacedĀ theĀ coordinateĀ 1ā2. On July 23, 2020, it wasĀ reportedĀ that he will play against the ManchesterĀ United, whichĀ startedĀ discussionĀ as Chhetri had not played anyĀ associationĀ coordinate. On July 25, 2020, Chhetri played against ManchesterĀ Joined togetherĀ as a substitute forĀ Greenish blueĀ Bunbury and Kansas CityĀ groupĀ won theĀ coordinateĀ 2-1. On July 25, 2010, it wasĀ declaredĀ that Chhetri will be competing for the Indian NationalĀ GroupĀ till theĀ conclusionĀ of the 2011 AFC AsianĀ Glass. On February 5, 2011, ChhetriĀ authoritativelyĀ cleared outĀ theĀ group.
On February 10, 2011, Sunil Chhetri wasĀ markedĀ by ChiragĀ UnitedĀ for 2010-11 season. On April 3, 2011, Chhetri scored hisĀ to begin withĀ goalĀ for ChiragĀ UnitedĀ against hisĀ previousĀ Club Dempo but theĀ latterĀ won theĀ coordinateĀ 4-2.
On July 2011, Mohun BaganĀ announcedĀ that Chhetri hasĀ signedĀ a one yearĀ dealĀ with the club.
On July 4, 2012, ChhetriĀ markedĀ a two-year contract withĀ SportingĀ Lisbon and would play as aĀ saveĀ groupĀ part. He made aĀ debutĀ with Segunda Liga against S.C. Freamunde in the 85thĀ minuteĀ andĀ SportingĀ CP B won theĀ coordinateĀ by 2-0.
