Prabhas Is Now India's Biggest Movie Star
The recent release of Prabhas was Kalki 2898 AD and with a gross of Rs 622.10 crore, the movie has become the highest-grossing movie of the year and the third-highest-grossing Telugu movie was directed by Nag Ashwin. The movie starred legends like Amitabh Bachchan, Kamal Haasan, Prabhas, and Deepika Padukone. Kalki 2898 AD is lagging behind the movies RRR (Rs 782.2 crore) and Baahubali 2 (Rs 1030.42 crore) but it might even outperform Jawan (640.25 crore).
In an interview, Amitabh Bachchan who is a legend himself praised Prabhas by referring him as "godlike" and expressed also gratitude toward director Nag Ashwin for choosing him as one of the actor in Kalki 2898 AD.
